Original song appears on the band's third album "Building Bridges," available now!

Hungarian Groove Metal Group DYSTOPIA Introduce New Guitarist & Launch Live Playthrough for “What Does the Beast Say?”

Former Wacken Metal Battle Hungary winner DYSTOPIA released their 3rd full-length album Building Bridges in July. After coming out with two image videos for “Purge Yourself” and “The Remedy Engine” they are doing something special this time. The guys just recorded an acoustic live performance for one of the most charming songs from the new album, “Silent Observer.”

The band commented, “‘Silent Observer’ has the most complex metaphysical background with multiple layers hidden in the lyrics. Connecting thoughts from quantum physics to the very nature of the human soul it tries to find an answer to questions like what makes us human, or do we have any higher entity to shift our responsibilities on, or are we the only ones who can make the right choices and strive to be the best versions of ourselves and bring the best out of each other as well.

The recordings took place in Miracle Sound, the very own studio of singer/guitarist Gábor Vári in co-operation with Soundcity Szeged, a Youtube channel with whom the studio has co-produced several live performance videos of some of Hungary’s leading pop-rock artists for the last 2 years under the brand S(o)unday Sessions.

We are very happy that we could finally make a Sounday Sessions video for Dystopia as well. We have been performing acoustic sessions once or twice a year since 2014. Csontos Péter from our fellow band The Void accompanies us on the cello from the very first acoustic show, but Levente Blanár, who joined the band just about a month ago turned out to be not only a great guitarist, but a fantastic vocalist as well. With all these circumstances coming together, and an acoustic session waiting for us in the beginning of november we just felt it was the right time to show this side of the band.

Building Bridges has got an amazing feedback since its launch, and the greater half of the album release tour is still ahead of the band. The album is available from Bandcamp.
