Progressive / technical death metal unit from Gothenburg in Sweden, Diagoras have launched a video for the song “Disengagement Theory” which originally appears at their 2018 debut EP “Enigma.” The video was exclusively premiered by Prog-Sphere.com.
The band stated: “With ‘Disengagement Theory’ we really tried to combine all our melodic and progressive influences with the extreme metal approach by which we define ourselves in Diagoras. We think everything great about Diagoras can be heard in this track!”
The four-track release, “Enigma,” was mixed at the Mordor Sounds Studio in Germany by drummer and producer Hannes Grossmann, known for his work with Alkaloid, Blotted Science, Hate Eternal, Obscura and Necrophagist.
Diagoras was founded by guitarist Mitchell Colbert and drummer Simon Wärnén, after Mitchell responded to an ad placed online by Simon to form a progressive metal band. Soon after, Mitchell moved to Europe permanently to establish the band, and the duo eventually added bassist Ljuba Tripković and vocalist Erik Olans to finally complete the lineup and record the progressive and dynamic EP.
